Property Analyst

General Overview

Enliven Housing has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and purpose-driven Property Analyst to join an impact investment fund, that is backed by one of Australia’s leading investment fund managers. Enliven develops, owns and operates best-in-class residential accommodation for people with disability, directly and with trusted partners, and has significant capital for investment and growth Australia-wide.

The Property Analyst will be responsible for investment analysis, feasibility modelling and due diligence on investment opportunities, in close coordination with the senior investment team.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the real estate sector, be a critical thinker and possess very strong modelling, report and presentation writing and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial analysis of potential and existing investments
  • Prepare investment proposals and reports for internal stakeholders
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investments
  • Assist with acquisition execution and settlement processes
  • Liaise with external stakeholders such as real estate agents, valuers, development partners, debt financiers and lawyers

Experience Requirements:

  • Must have 3-5 years of property investment experience, ideally within Funds management or Investment Banking.
  • Relevant academic qualifications specific to the finance industry
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills and outstanding written and verbal communication/presentation delivery skills
  • Experience in property development and feasibility modelling and analysis would be preferred
  • Outstanding Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
  • Familiarity with legal agreements, facility agreements and property contracts
  • Database development and PowerBI skills are beneficial
