How did Enliven Housing come about?
Founded in 2019 by Tino Carusi in development and led by Faye Minty in tenancy management, Enliven Housing is an organisation that keeps ahead of an evolving SDA landscape without ever compromising on our philosophy, culture or values. This is exemplified by the fact that we don’t outsource any aspect of the SDA journey, we utilise a Friendly Landlord model approach to tenancy management and we deliver the highest standard SDA apartments, to ultimately create long-term liveability for all our participants.
The Enliven Housing Group now firmly ensures that we not only have the institutional capacity to continue to deliver premium accommodation and sector-leading tenancy management, but also effectively support and reach even more Australians with disability.

Who is The Enliven Housing Group?
In May 2024, Enliven Housing and My Specialised Accommodation Solutions (MySAS) came together to form The Enliven Housing Group.
This partnership is a significant and positive step forward for all current and future tenants.
For the past five years, Enliven Housing has proudly worked alongside Australians with disability to provide tailored and viable independent living solutions. Enliven Housing’s premium and tailored SDA apartments are provided together with effective tenancy support to Australians with disability, so tenants can live their best independent life.
Who is MySAS?
MySAS grew out of a business started by Macquarie Asset Management in 2018.
MySAS is one of the largest and most long-term investors in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) across Australia. It has a proven track record in investing in high quality and sustainable SDA, but more importantly, their core values are perfectly aligned with Enliven Housing’s – ensuring the tenant is always at the heart of the decision-making process.
From the outset, MySAS have invested in SDA through partnerships with Australia's leading SDA providers, in both apartments and shared housing. These partners include: Apollo SDA, Vera Living, Habilitas and Youngcare. These strong partnerships add diversity into the range of housing and outcomes MySAS can offer together.

Our Governance Framework
The main governing company in The Enliven Housing Group is Specialised Accommodation Solutions Pty Limited and the primary role of the Board of this company is to manage the funds that have been invested by institutional investors by ensuring the long-term health and prosperity of our business divisions: being a registered SDA provider, tenancy and property manager and SDA property developer. This is all done within a transparent and robust framework of corporate governance and financial controls.
We also have a separate company in our group that owns our SDA houses and apartments. These board members are set out below.
