“My experience has taught me that the best approach to achieving successful outcomes in my role is to establish open lines of communication and productive collaboration with my colleagues, particpants and their wider network of supports.”
My youngest cousin has Cerebral Palsy, so assisting people with disability has been been a passion of mine for a long time. I saw the difficulties involved with transitioning my cousin to shared housing many years ago for my aunt and uncle and our family unit as a whole. I just feel everyone is deserving of safe and accessible accommodation and supports and this experience is what drives me.
In my role as a Business Development Coordinator at Enliven Housing, I’m working very closely with participants and their supports to ultimately ensure their new home is safe, secure and tailored to their needs, so that they can achieve all their living goals.
What I love most about working at a tenant-first organisation like Enliven Housing is the forward-thinking and innovative culture. As employees we’re empowered to continually find new ways to best service our tenants.
