Marketing & Communications Officer

General Overview

The Marketing and Communications Officer role is a newly created position that sits within our innovative and growing marketing team. The role is perfect for an energetic and passionate individual with a strong content marketing and communications skillset who has recently graduated with a degree in marketing or communications or has a few years of experience in a similar role. 

You’ll be involved in all facets of the marketing operation in line with the overarching national strategy. 

Standard office hours are required and from time to time there can be some tasks, travel or meetings that occur outside of normal business hours. 

You will be willing to undertake the NDIS worker check which includes a Police check and four learning modules.

The role is based in our Sydney office.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Planning and curating written content to promote brand awareness and for lead generation purposes.
  • Support the Marketing and Communications Manager in the execution of the marketing strategy.
  • Plan and develop regular external communications content in the form of EDMs, web copy and social media posts.
  • Ensure all content and copy is in line with both Enliven Housing’s brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Actively contribute to internal marketing work in progress meetings and liaise with agency partners.

Education

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or related industry

Knowledge and Skills

  • Exceptional written communication skills and ability to adapt your writing style to be effective based on the intent, platform and always in line with the brand’s tone of voice.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks and work to strict deadlines.
  • Understanding of digital platforms such as content management systems, project management systems etc.
  • Ability to learn & grasp technical information quickly is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Capacity to work consistently individually and as part of a team.
  • Capacity to identify challenges and present solutions.

Travel

This role may involve travel interstate from time to time.
