“What I love most about my role is the fact that I have the opportunity to explore the impact of the built environment on the wellbeing of people with disability and expanding my understanding of how vital it is develop functional living spaces.”

Delivering high-end apartments to our tenants that gives them the best chance of achieving long-term livability is the goal, but in order to do so, I pride myself on using my skills and experience to ensure that all our apartment designs exceed the SDA standards, building code and our aesthetic finish expectations.

It’s so rewarding to be hands on throughout the process, from concept design to the delivery of the project and of course, then having the privilege to meet the tenants after they move in and see them thrive in their functional home.

Career highlight:

Working for an organisation like Enliven Housing that values making a difference in the community. Not all graduate students from university get the opportunity to be involved in projects that have the potential to create positive change.

Outside of work:

Going on day trips to explore places and buildings/photograph their different architectural characteristics. If I’m not out exploring, I am either cooking new recipes, reading, playing the piano, or making ceramic pottery pieces.

What super-power would you want?

Teleportation into different universes. Being able to travel different places without waiting and being able to be in many places at once to save time.

Credentials:

  • Bachelor of Architectural Studies
