With a background in social work and experience in social housing, I’ve always had a genuine interest in wanting to empower individuals, not just house them. The disability sector felt like a natural next step, where I could apply my values and skills in a more focused, intentional way.
What I love most about working at Enliven is knowing that our work has a direct impact on people’s choice, independence and living goals – being part of a team that puts that front and centre every day is incredibly motivating.
One of the greatest highlights of my career is seeing the joy on someone’s face when I hand them the keys to their new home. Especially when you understand the barriers they’ve had to overcome to get to that day, it’s always a special feeling.Â
I love to travel and explore new places with my friends – whether it is trying out new restaurants or finding the best beaches. I’m trying to find all the best that Sydney has to offer!
