“A successful outcome in my role is supporting tenants to maintain stable and secure housing while promoting independence, wellbeing and positive tenancy outcomes. It also involves building trust, resolving issues proactively and ensuring tenants feel respected, supported and connected to the community.”
What motivates me most is being able to support people with disability in maintaining their tenancies, overcome barriers and access the resources they need to live independently and confidently within the community. I’m proud to be part of an organisation that puts people first and is committed to delivering meaningful, person-centred support.
One of my career highlights has been supporting tenants through challenging situations and helping them maintain stable housing outcomes. Being able to build trust with tenants, resolve complex tenancy issues and see individuals gain confidence and independence in their living situation has been incredibly rewarding. Knowing that my work has had a positive impact on someone’s quality of life is something I’m very proud of.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, staying active and finding ways to unwind and recharge. I also enjoy exploring new places, listening to music and activities that help me maintain a good work-life balance.
If I could have a superpower, it would be the ability to instantly solve problems and remove barriers for people in difficult situations. Working in the disability and housing sector, I see how much of a difference the right support at the right time can make, so being able to help people quickly and positively improve their circumstances would be incredibly rewarding.
