“As the leader of the Enliven Housing Group, I’m proudly tasked with driving the overarching business strategy to ensure the professional investment we bring to SDA is generating great outcomes for our investors, the NDIA but most importantly, for Australians with disability, so they can live the life they want to live.”
As a trained lawyer, I spent much of my career working as General Counsel and heading up Business and Legal Affairs across a number of industries including property and development and the media sector. This varied experience enabled me to bolster my leadership skills, relationship management and ability to drive core business initiatives. I’ve also had the privilege of leading not-for-profit businesses and being involved in social enterprises which has been incredibly rewarding. So, when the opportunity came to join My Specialised Accommodation Solutions and utilise my skills to ultimately deliver long-term housing to Australians with disability, it was a challenge I was certainly ready for.
Now, as Head of the Enliven Housing Group, I’m incredibly proud of our business capability. The way we work with our tenants to facilitate their SDA journey, the strong relationships we have with our SDA partners who share our values and ambitions, and our ability to deliver a return to the investors who support us in fulfilling our mission – to provide safe and sustainable housing supported by person-centred tenancy management services for people with disability.
In addition to leading the Enliven Housing Group, I’m also a Non-Executive Director of The Bread and Butter Project, Australia’s first social enterprise artisanal bakery, who provide training and support to refugees and asylum seekers and help them find full-time work in Australia. Alongside my family, I’m also part of the Community Refugee Sponsorship Initiative.
