I was drawn to the disability sector because of its strong focus on inclusion, empowerment and creating opportunities for people to live the lives they choose. After more than 12 years working across property and real estate, I wanted to use my experience in tenancy management and customer service to help create positive housing experiences and meaningful outcomes for people with disability.
What I love most about Enliven Housing is being part of a team that genuinely cares about the people we work with. There’s a real sense of collaboration, with everyone working together to provide quality homes where people can feel comfortable and truly at home. I bring that same approach to my role by being approachable, caring and solutions-focused, and by taking the time to build positive relationships with customers and everyone involved in their housing journey.
Building more than 12 years of experience in property and real estate, and now being able to use that experience to help people find the right home. Knowing I’ve played a part in positive outcomes for customers and supported them throughout their housing journey is something I’m really proud of.
I volunteer with my local State Emergency Service (SES) unit in Logan, which gives me another opportunity to give back to the community and support people when they need it. I also love spending time with my husband and our two dogs, whether we’re relaxing at home or getting out and about together.
Healing. I’d love to be able to wave a hand and instantly cure illness and disease, giving people the opportunity to feel their best, spend more time with their loved ones and enjoy more of what life has to offer.
