“I believe in meeting people where they are, building trust and empowering them to make their own choices. My approach is person-centred, strengths-based and solution-focused, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and open communication.”
My experience in various areas of the community sector has helped me develop a strong passion for advocacy and inclusion. I was eager to expand my work into the disability sector, where I could continue supporting people in accessing the right opportunities and living independently in a way that suits them.
At Enliven, I’ve found a team that shares this commitment. I love how close-knit and supportive the team is, as well as the person-centred approach we take with all our tenants and prospective participants.
A big highlight for me was the successful implementation of monthly women’s self-care groups in my role as social worker in homelessness and addiction. This gave our marginalised female participants the opportunity to participate in self-care activities, learn emotional regulation skills and socialise and make friends in a safe space.
I enjoy trying new coffee and food places with my partner and friends, spending time with my family and travelling.
To manipulate time. I can be very sentimental so to be able to go back to old memories would be lovely.
