“For me, a successful outcome is when a tenant feels safe, supported and heard in their home, with issues resolved properly and good relationships maintained along the way.”

I wanted to work in an area where what I do has a genuine impact on people’s everyday lives. Housing plays such an important role in a person’s independence, stability and quality of life and I enjoy being able to help make that experience a positive one.

I bring experience across tenancy, property and Specialist Disability Accommodation, with a strong practical understanding of tenancy management and supporting people within the SDA environment. My approach to work is practical, approachable and solutions-focused. Communication is one of my biggest strengths, particularly when situations are complex or sensitive. I like to understand the full picture, be clear about what can and can’t be done, and then work with tenants to find the best way forward.

What I love most about working at Enliven Housing is that the focus is on the tenant, not just the property. I also really value being able to work collaboratively with families, support providers and other stakeholders to find practical solutions and improve the overall tenancy experience.

Career highlight:

Moving into the disability housing sector and building a career where I can combine my experience in tenancy and property management with work that has a meaningful impact on people’s lives has been a real highlight for me.

Outside of work:

I love being active and getting out and about with my family, whether we’re exploring somewhere new or just enjoying time together.

What super-power would you want?

Mind reading. It would definitely make communication easier, although I’m not sure I’d always want to know what everyone is thinking!
