I’ve always aimed to work in an area that serves others and that enables people to live life to their choosing. With personal experience supporting others who live with disability, I’ve found working in the disability sector to be a rewarding area where meaningful change can be made in people’s lives.
A standout moment in my career was during my time as a support worker, when I worked with someone determined to overcome their fear of heights. Helping them achieve this goal was incredibly rewarding and reminded me of the powerful impact we can have supporting others. It’s an experience that’s stayed with me ever since.
I love playing social sport, particularly for my local football club. In the rest of my downtime I like to enjoy films, cooking or social events.
My super-power would be able to speak every language. I would love to be able to converse with people from different cultures from across the globe.
